Omni was founded in 1997 by Robert Leggett, principally to act as an interface between recruitment agencies and their clients.
No other company in the marketplace at this time performed this role and Omni quickly established itself as a successful recruitment business in the IT sector. Omni then took the same successful model to non-IT clients, became Omni Resource Management Solutions and began to offer a broader range of services. For the clients who preferred it, Omni Resource Management Solutions could offer a completely outsourced HR provision.
Omni's growth continued and this was recognised nationally when the 2002/2003 Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track 100 listed Omni at No. 46. In the last 2 years, Omni has been recognised in the prestigious Recruiter of the Year Awards.
